ALTERITAS is a series dedicated to exploring otherness as both an aesthetic and human phenomenon.
Working with mixed media, Austrian artist Alexandra Ros creates images where forms that fall outside the familiar are not rejected — but received.
Each work in the series is not a provocation or a statement.

Each painting is not a depiction of “the other,” but a form of another possibility of being.
The series positions painting as a field where difference does not require classification.
